Welcome! I am a Ph.D. candidate in Political Science at Yale University. I am interested broadly in the welfare state, clientelism, and religion. My dissertation project focuses on poor voters and "the religious welfare state" in Turkey. My other research interests include analyzing economic content in religious sermons, examining social policy preferences in the United States, and advancing survey methodology across both online and offline settings. Prior to joining Yale, I received my B.A degree in economics from the University of Chicago. You can contact me by-email at ekin.dursun[at]yale.edu.
